Volunteer Opportunities
Website Manager
This role helps keep our site current and user-friendly. Responsibilities include updating content (events, news, program info), making sure links and images are working, and keeping things clear and easy to navigate.
Audio and Video Podcast Editor Volunteer
The role of the Audio and Video Podcast Editor will be to assist the CEO and COO in filming and editing Fahrenheit Mentoring’s video podcasts.
Social Media Coordinator
The role of the Social Media Specialist Volunteer will be to assist the CEO and COO in promoting Fahrenheit Mentoring’s purpose and opportunities and to raise brand awareness using social media platforms by growing, cultivating, clarifying, and sustaining brand identity.
Mentor Point Person(s)
This role serves as a liaison between Fahrenheit and the church (preferably not staff). This person(s) are already involved in or interested in mentoring. Responsibilities include attending Mentoring Workshop, facilitating monthly check-ins with Mentors, sharing mentoring stories with Life Groups and staff. They will have full access to ongoing Fahrenheit tools, podcasts, and community.
Workshop Volunteer Staff
A workshop requires a lot of moving pieces. In order to ensure the day runs smoothly, an event coordinator would help facilitate the day’s activities including set up and meals (if needed). In addition, additional volunteers include a power point/media person, greeters, and photographer.
